This really is a lovely fireplace, its casting is of top quality and is very ornate featuring shells, ferns, fox gloves etc. It is all cast iron combining the mantle shelf with the grate. It dates from around 1900, it has its original rd number and makers on the back. It measurements are as follows: Shelf 44" x 7" Body 36" Height 44" Grate 16" The opening needed to house the back is minimum 34" high by minimum 28" wide The tiles that are shown in this one are a new set and can be changed as they are not fixed. All renovations have been carried out professionally and where needed by a blacksmiths. The brick does have some old cracks but does not move, it would still be suitable for a real fire. This is really lovely, quite different from the usual.

Here we have a lovely pair of french/double doors, they are 3/4 clear leaded glass with lovely moulded panels on the last quater. They are in top condition, really good, all the glass is perfect there are two old bolts on the bottom, they have hinges, there are signs that bolts would have been on the top and they would need handles, (on one side the hole has been filled in and the other a glass stopper top has been used!, quite pretty but you would probably want to take it off and put matching handles) The doors measure 22 3/4" wide each x 83 1/2" tall and they are 2" thick. The glass section measures 66" from the arch at the top to the arch at the bottom. Very heavy sturdy doors.

VICTORIAN 1/2 GLAZED 4 CORNERED DOOR BRASS FITTINGS - £85.00

Here we have an original pine half glazed door, it is a Victorian four cornered door, blue glass in each corner, clear edges and a textured finished piece in the centre. It has an old brass handle, escuchen, letter box, hinges, lock (no key) and the number 94 (obviously this can be taken off if not needed). On one side its been painted red and the other is its original pine, the pine side of the glass needs re puttying as its a bit tatty. There has also been a repair to the top left corner, a section has been shafted back in, nothing out of the ordinary for such an old door. You can see on the back where there would have been a rim lock once upon a time. The panels on this side are flush with the door with a nice moulded section down each side and the red side is more traditional with the moulding around the panel. All the glass is in superb condition and would not need replacing, just a good sprucing up and repainting could give you a very traditional and lovely old original door. The door measures 29 3/4" x 771/4" and is 1 1/2" thick

Original Victorian Tiled Insert

This is a original Victorian Tiled Insert with its original tiles. This one has the lovely tiled hood which became quite popular late on in the 19th Century. It has its original ash pan cover and the brick is in superb condition also. The tiles are in good condition for their age, one does have a chipped corner but they are all still very well fixed into the fireplace and wouldn't need anything doing unless you wanted to change them. It dates from late the 19th century. It has been fully and professionally restored and are ready to just put straight in. Here are the all important measurements you will need to know if it will fit: Height 36" Width 30" 14" grate The opening needed to fit into the fireplace is 26" wide X 33" high This is an insert and would need a mantle piece
